The roots of CBM Construction Co., Inc. date back to 1922 when W.E. Clark, great grandfather of current president, Clark B. McGlothin, began his masonry business. This successful enterprise operated for more than 50 years before the expansion process that lead to the formation of CBM Construction in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Although the company was officially founded in 1976 as a general contractor, it was not until 1991 that CBM became became associated with Butler Manufacturing—the world’s premier manufacturer of pre-engineered building systems. As a member of a select group of authorized Butler Builders, CBM Construction provides the highest quality of pre-engineered building systems available today. Since Butler Manufacturing has consistently led the industry in product development, our association with Butler has given us the competitive edge we need.

CBM Construction, Inc. specializes in design-build commercial and industrial projects. The design-build approach to construction offers distinct advantages over traditional methods. Design-build simplifies the building process allowing both design and construction professionals to work as a team. This single-source of responsibility results in more accurate communication and more reliable cost estimates with fewer changes. Fewer changes mean projects are completed on time and within budget.

In 1976, the CBM staff consisted of just three individuals. Today we have well over 100 employees, some of whom have been with us for as long as 20 years. Our philosophy of working within a 45 minute radius of our offices allows us to provide the highest degree of personalized customer service. Each CBM employee is accessible to service any customer’s needs—no matter if that service is on a working project or a warranty request. We don’t keep you waiting if there’s warranty work to be done, in fact, we love to get your warranty call.
